(11/28/2025) On Air, Linked, the new N2SKY La Veta 447.050 PL 103.5, located south of La Veta Pass in Huerfano County, southeast CO. Coverage from the Alamosa area & SLV, east thru Ft Garland and La Veta Pass, La Veta and Walsenburg, out across I-25 & the SE plains including La Junta.
A station near Weston hit it from the S side of the Spanish Peaks and a mobile hit it from Saguache! Inside the Walsenburg Community Center, an HT hits it with good comms. We are receiving better than expected coverage reports from the San Luis Valley! Two La Junta stations with ‘basic’ base antennas have hit it well, one with full quieting, and both have clear reception from it!! As a result, the SWN will begin severe weather coverage in Otero County. Please provide your report from the SLV and from the Walsenburg area eastward, Hwys 350/10/160. Great job, Skyler!
